Leave Something That Lives On

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM

Brush up on your English

The medium of instruction in many schools and the language you will have to use to communicate with the kids and our partners will be English. Please do make sure that you can comprehend and communicate through English.

Do Initial Research

Though there will be learning partners for the project, initial research on education in the Philippines will be helpful. You can also try to find lesson plans and school activities you can use during the learning sessions with the beneficiaries.

Bring Appropriate Clothes

Philippine weather is hot weather. Nevertheless, don’t only bring your swimsuits, shorts, and tanktops! We urge you to bring teacher-appropriate clothes to the areas you will be working in (i.e., t-shirts, pants, leggings, etc.).
